Welcome to the Notre Dame Sports Biomechanics Research Group!
The Sports Biomechanics Research Group is led by Dr. Craig M. Goehler in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame. This research group is primarily composed of undergraduate research students conducting movement studies of various sports at all three levels of competition at Notre Dame: Varsity, Club, and Interhall. The current focus is on women's sports and how a variety of factors (such as sleep, stress, diet, and hormones) can impact performance and risk of injury.
Much of the data that has been collected along with a variety of analysis tools will be posted here for other researchers to use. Check back regularly for updates.
